The Urban Planning Department accompanies local authorities, government ministries, planning organizations and private entrepreneurs in planning processes from a detailed level of building, to neighborhood, area, and cities within the framework of comprehensive outline plans, statutory and strategic urban plans and research.

The professional team includes leading professionals: architects, city planners, economists, business managers, appraisers and lawyers.

The department provides a wide range of services to institutional and private bodies both at the strategic level and at the local level.

Programs for Public Purposes and Carrying Capacity
  • Social consultation for public purposes in comprehensive, neighborhood and regional outline plans
    Examining the current state of public needs: public buildings and institutions and open spaces, in view of the existing vision and possibilities in order to realize it. Population projection and deployment of various cross-sections of the population in space.
    The work is carried out in direct contact with city officials in order to reach agreements and progress in planning.
    The products include program reviews and appendices as part of statutory program documents.

 

  • Analysis of carrying capacity for public purposes in old cities and new neighborhoods
